It’s called sheer luck... Emraan Hashmi had close brush with a fatal accident when he was shooting for the film ‘Crook’, on a freeway at Melbourne, Australia.

Recalling the scary incident, he explained to sources that he was driving a car behind a rig vehicle, which had a camera mounted on a crane arm. Suddenly the camera got demounted from the crane and fell off. As the actor was driving at the speed of 100 km/hr he was unable to swerve; in turn making him to drive over the camera.

“The camera broke into pieces and as a result my car went two feet off the ground on impact. I was fortunate that my car didn’t go off the freeway,” said Emraan.

Phew! Close shave indeed… Thank your stars Emraan!

‘Crook’ is being directed by Mohit Suri.
